Summer Bonus!

Well, the Tropical Storm turned out to be quite mild here. It was dreary and rainy, definitely windy, but not terrible. We still had power so all seemed to be well with the world. Some malls were open, and lots of people were out enjoying their unexpected day off of work. Myself included. School did not open on Monday, as was the original plan. Instead, Tropical Storm Fay gave us two more glorious days of summer. Thank you very much! (Although my dad is probably not smiling... the storm knocked down a branch which subsequently fell onto his very new Mercedes SUV. Ouch!)
The Hughes fam decided to make the most of the day with a trip to Chick Fil A. The kids love the indoor playground. They needed some place to run and jump after being couped up for a couple of rainy days. And we were glad to have them do that in a padded room. Ha ha. We enjoyed some chicken, playtime, and milkshakes. Yumm!
