Sharing Meal Ideas
Have you ever been stuck in a "What do I make for dinner?" rut? I recently spoke with a friend about refreshing our meal ideas. The idea is this: I post a list of meals we enjoy in our home. You reply to the post with meals you make. Hopefully we can refresh each other by introducing new ideas. All readers should feel free to contact each other for the recipe of a new meal that you'd like to try. So, friends, make sure to include your blog link or email address in your post.

My contributions are:
1. Killer Asian Sauce for Chicken- made from babyfood apricots or peaches, Dijon mustard, Tabasco and ginger. Brush on cooked chicken (rotisserie is easiest) and serve with sugar snap peas and rice or linguine. (can’t go to the store? Alternate sauce is A-1 sauce with marmalade.) Put canned peach halves on plate as garnish.
2. Another is Stuffed Green Peppers (filling is ground beef, sun-dried tomatoes, portabellas, onions and mozzarella cheese) on a bed of yellow rice with zucchini and carrot “coins”.
3. For a salad, use sliced Granny Smith apples, walnuts and bleu (or cheddar) cheese on romaine with your Briana dressing (sold for a lot less at Super Target!)
4. Mix chunks of chicken, celery, almonds, cream cheese and green onions. Stuff into huge pasta shells (precooked). In a hurry? Use purchased chicken salad to stuff the shells. Cover and bake just to heat through. Serve on plate, surrounded by steamed or sautéed green beans with red pepper slices.
5. Make a Happy Sandwich for toddlers—single slice of bread, spread with peanut butter, make eyes of raisins, nose of grape and smile of apple slice.

Hey Emily, Great idea with sharing meals. Its comforting to know I am not the only one bored with my meals. Anyway, one website I love is kratfoods.com I don't know if you have ever been on there but its great. Also they have what they call the Food & FAmily magazine that is free. You can sign up for it on the website and its really awesome. They have alot of recipes and they are easy so if you don't get it you should. Anyway, hope all is well.
