Vacation in the Winter

This South Florida couple has gone against the flow of vacationers who are making their way down from the north to escape the cold. We hopped in our car and left the 88 degree temp to drive to Hampton, New Hampshire where it is currently 30 something and there is snow on the ground. A little bit of winter is nice every once in a while, especially since our unusually warm temps at home have not given any hint of winter. It has been a very long time since Chris and I have taken an extended vacation without children. In fact, our last one was our honeymoon! So we took a road trip. 27 hours later, here we are... relaxing and already enjoying our vacation. The above picture is the Bed and Breakfast. Just imagine it covered in snow =)

27 hours! Yes, we drove 27 hours straight through ... with a 3 hour stop to nap in a Walmart parking lot. Ha! It was not bad at all... rather it is fun. We are enjoying the novelty of just being Em and Chris. And we are also enjoying the company of my brother, Tim, and his new bride Brittany. Here's to having lots of fun!!!!!!
