Princess Hannah

Mary Hannah is a princess through and through.

Tonight she had a special date with Mommy and Daddy while Avery had some special alone time with Grandma and Grandpa. We took her to the mall and visited several girly stores like Hello Kitty, Claires (which MH calls "The Princess Store"), Build-a-Bear, and the Disney Store. We were shopping for a special treat. MH could choose one thing, anything that she wanted. She chose a Sleeping Beauty Princess Dress.

MH was so giddy and couldn't wait to wear it! She wore it in the mall, along with her light-up pink princess "glass slipper" sandals. From that moment on the stroller was no longer just a stroller. It was her coach. She played the princess part very well! She sang the Sleeping Beauty song and got lots of attention from passerbys. She even got some pink lipgloss from the girls at the Clinque counter. At one point, she told me to "Hurry up! We have to get to the ball!" It was precious.

As soon as we got home, it was time to play with her Cinderella castle.... while wearing her princess dress, and watching Sleeping Beauty. I love the way she embraces life and finds such great delight in a sparkly dress and pink shoes. We had a great time with Mary Hannah tonight. These are the moments we live for!
