Bedtime Woes

Recently Avery and Mary Hannah have been trying everything in their power to extend the day. Mary Hannah has decided to go the pitiful route... She cries "Mommy don't go. It will make me so sad!" which is followed by a heart wrenching "Mommy, I need you!"
Avery does the sneaky out-of-bed routine. He slithers on the floor of the kitchen out to the family room. There is a slight smile on his face when he is discovered. He quickly says "I'm scared." Yeah, that doesn't work. You can't be scared and smiling at the same time.

Things have been pretty crazy around here. Its the holidays. I am looking forward to Christmas break. It will be great time to rest with family and to hopefully restore some normalcy to our days.
