Uncle Dan and Aunt Stephanie are down from KY for Christmas. It has been quite awhile since we've seen them! We are so glad to spend some time with them. Today Steph joined us at the park. She helped Avery "go high" on the swing. He was so frightened, but pushed through it because he really wanted to swing high like the other kids. Good job, Aves! It always helps to have a personal trainer help push you past your comfort zone. Thanks, Aunt Steph!
Mary Hannah had a great time pushing Avery around on this bike. It was not all smiles for MH today, though. She did a total face plant on the sidewalk and came away with a battle scar. The poor girl! I think this one really hurt. In fact, much later in the evening she came to me holding her head and saying "Mommy, my boo boo hurts!"
A little red Gatorade took her mind off the pain and helped her feel ready to play again.
